Misión

The Desktop expert is part of the User Environment Community and is responsible for the continuity of the client infrastructure. This includes the preparation, test and maintenance of software installation packages, Mobile device management, 2nd level support and monitoring of all client related Operating Systems and Applications. The Desktop expert will work closely with all other Teams in order to integrate new products/systems and support changes when applicable. The Desktop expert’s main focus will be compliance and business continuity.

Roles and Responsabilities

-Maintain appropriate service levels manage and support of the client infrastructure

-Maintain appropriate service levels manage and support of the Mobile devices (Android & IOs)

-Software Packaging and Quality Tests on the supported platforms

-Daily 2nd Level operations including the following: Problem Identification, ticket resolution and escalation

-Identify root causes of tickets and transfer the results to the Continuous Improvement Process

-Provide a point of escalation and support to the service desks and the first Level Support Teams

-Define, create and Improve global standards in collaboration with the Support Teams and ISM Teams

-Define and write procedures and train the Support Teams to enable them to support the environment

-On-going documentation and inventory of equipment

-Manage and ensure security access

-Develop automatic processes on a high quality level

Experiencia laboral

Bachelor Degree or equivalent

3 years in IT area

Skills required

Great knowledge of:
-Windows 10 (troubleshooting, patch management, Security, GPO, BitLocker, OSD)
-Mobile Devices Management (MobileIron or any other MDM)
-Mobile environments (Android and Ios, Tablets & Smarphones, BYOB)
-Active Directory (mainly GPO but also DNS, AD site and services, KPI)

Good knowledge in:
-Packaging
-Ivanti DSM and/or Microsoft SCCM
-Scripting (PowerShell, DOS, VBScript)
-Windows 7, MS Office 2016, Skype for Business
-Office 365Antivirus (Kaspersky)
-VDI

Knowledge in:
-Symantec Entr. Vault

-Strong customer service skills required
-Excellent collaboration skills and communication skills
-Effective problem-solving, analytical and time management skills
-Self-educated skillsI
-TSM and DevOps awareness

-Fluent in English ( French and/or German will be a plus)
